The Hornet Experience
The Hornet Experience has been intentionally designed to introduce you to Fullerton College and to connect you with experiences to help you thrive as a Hornet during your first year. The Hornet Experience introduces you to the four key areas of student success at Fullerton College: Career and Educational Exploration, Community and Cultural Connections, Mindful Growth, and Support Services.
By participating, you will learn more about careers, connect with our campus community, learn strategies that foster resiliency and healthy achievement, and become familiar with the many support services our college has to offer. Research shows that gaining this knowledge can improve the mental health and overall experiences of college students.
You can also earn rewards and prizes for completion of the entire Hornet Experience, including an entry into our annual FYE Grand Prize drawing for completing the entire Hornet Experience pathway and earning the final FYE badge! You will also have the opportunity to participate in special events, including an achievement ceremony for students who complete this experience by the end of their first year.

The Hornet Experience is housed in Canvas, our on-campus Learning Management System. Your first step is to join the First Year Experience Canvas by logging in with your Banner ID and password.
From there, navigate to Modules -> How Do I Earn Badges to get started!
Be sure to also check in at the Promise and First Year Support Center when you complete milestones in the Hornet Experience to collect special prizes!
